I know these bikes can go over 100k miles if well taken care of, but I wanted your opinion on what to check and what ...The bike is about to get 30.000km. It's desmo maintenance time, something about changing engine belts and checking/adjusting valves, etc. Unfortunately I'm not sure I will be able to afford it, my local Ducati dealership told me to expect well over 1000€ for the maintenance with over 12 hours of labour expected 😰😵...My options are the following: - (BRAND NEW) Stock regular BMW S1000RR: 21,000EUR. - (BRAND NEW) Ducati Panigale V2: 21,000 EUR. - (USED, 7000 miles) Ducati Panigale V4 2021: 19,000EUR. The supersport is very comfortable. The v2 and v4 have crazy heat, the v4 gave me blisters through my jeans while I was going 65 on the highway. Their scramblers are a bit more functional than Ducati’s. Their scrambler looks like Ducati’s, but the engine looks very similar to a liquid cooked DVT desmo from Multistrada or diavel. Aprilia and Moto Guzzi are brands with a good dealer networks.

The differences are paint, wheels, engine paint. The S model gets different colors, machined cast wheels, and a gloss black on the engine as opposed to flat black.
